Born in 1964, Christina studied saxophone and composition in Cologne. She took additional training with Maria Schneider and Jim McNeely. She became well known as the founder and co-leader of the United Women's Orchestra, a jazz orchestra dedicated to performing original compositions. She has received numerous prizes like the "Julius Hemphill Composition Award"

Pianist and composer of Indo-German origin lived 12 years in New York and Mexico City. His work is inspired by these experiences. He combines European musical traditions with a variety of jazz-styles and European classical and folk music. Compositions for his own ensemble with the renowned British saxophonist Julian Argüelles.
